After many years of exploring different forms of exercise, I discovered Pilates. I had always wanted to try it, having heard how beneficial it could be for runners. At the time, I was a keen long distance runner, so I finally booked a class.

From my very first session, I was hooked. I loved the calm and focus that Pilates brought, along with the feeling of moving with greater awareness and control. It helped me understand my body better, improve my posture and develop a stronger connection between movement and breath.

What I love most about Pilates is that it can be adapted to suit everyone, regardless of age, size or mobility. I truly believe Pilates is for adults of all ages, whether you are completely new to exercise, returning after a break or looking to support another activity. It offers a way to build strength, stability and confidence at your own pace.

I recently relocated to the beautiful Cotswolds, where the surrounding countryside reflects many of the qualities I value in Pilates: taking time to slow down, be present and appreciate the simple things.

For me, Pilates offers far more than exercise. It helps us move with intention, feel stronger in our bodies and develop the awareness to support the way we live each day.

Whether you are completely new to Pilates or returning after time away, my aim is to create welcoming sessions where you feel supported, encouraged and leave feeling better than when you arrived.

The words Presence & Poise capture what I love most about Pilates: being connected to our bodies, moving with intention and carrying ourselves with confidence and grace.

Move with Presence.

Live with Poise.
